A team of people

Our values define
who we are

Values are basic and fundamental beliefs that guide or motivate attitudes or actions, they help us determine what is important to us. We use these as a compass to guide our decisions, how we act, and how we communicate.

Our name, FidesOak®, is an embodiment of the Roman Goddess Fides whose virtues were Trust, Honesty and Sincerity of Intent. These are underpinned by our Integrity and Wisdom but also Humility to know that we don't have all the answers and that we will work together, with you, to achieve success. The Oak, symbolic of strength, stability, wisdom and longevity, can take 300 years to fully mature. Much like your organisations' culture, it needs to be nurtured and allowed time to grow. Your culture is the legacy of our endeavours.

These values are at the heart of our collaboration and engagement with all of our clients. Our value proposition is to support our clients in building a culture where Care, Trust, Honesty and Sincerity of Intent are foundational principles to what they do. This is embedded in our approach, so that we can identify and facilitate the best from your people.

Our values

The power of trust

Trust has been defined as an inherent characteristic of a team, its mental and moral qualities. Fundamental to the success of any enterprise undertaken by a team is trust. The belief you can rely on someone, that their intentions are sincere and that honesty is expected in all areas of discourse. Using our values to guide us, we support our clients to maximise the potential of their people and their teams.
